Well, a couple weeks ago we were asked to be part of a special “VIP” episode of Big Red Potion, and we sent in a 6-minute bit on our pick for the most overrated game of the year. In episode 13, Zeus mentioned that she served as guest-host for a web series called “Dell Motherboard” over on VBS.tv about PAX, so here’s that: At this point, I don’t know which of us have seen this, so I can’t speak for everyone at DK, but I’m pretty proud of her. I think she did an excellent job, and it’s comforting to know that — as DK grows in both scope and budget over the next couple years — she’ll be able to handle herself with the level of “awesome” her namesake implies. So, we finally got the staff together, and I wanted to let our listeners know we’ve scheduled a run of weekly shows through November. We all have jobs, and getting everyone in one room together is, as the old saying goes, something akin to “herding cats,” but we’ve made some necessary changes to our process and — against my better judgement — we recorded a special show after our meeting. Recorded episode 8 last night. It’s nice to be back from our little break. It’s going to be completely worth it, though, because a lot has happened in the last several weeks, and almost all of it can be chalked up in the “awesome” category. Rock Band tonight, though. SE 12th and Clay. Apparently there’s gonna be a pretty good turnout tonight,  so if you’re in the Portland area, shoot us a message or an e-mail or just drop by. Party starts at 9! So I nearly caused an international incident Sunday when I was a guest on episode 10 of Big Red Potion, a podcast hosted by Very British Gamer columnist Sinan Kubba, to talk about the World of Warcraft.

Thanks again to Mike and our new friends Ian and Andrew over at TheWiire.com for welcoming me on their show. It was a lot of fun and I hope they’ll have me back sooner than later.
