Can’t come up with any nicknames yet, but I hope you find a good one soon XD (Just don’t ask Tombstone for more suggestions)
Possible names for Laura:
1) Serenity, for a Firefly reference and also an ironic reference, as Laura is never exactly serene.
2) Skittles actually works, and is hilarious, as a nickname, but I know I wouldn’t want any high school nickname these days. Especially as mine were mostly food-based, too.
3) Ask her what her usernames in Urban Dead were. There was one axe-wielding maniac, in particular, who was part of the Upper Left Corner whose name might work. I can’t remember the name off-hand, but I still think it would work.
4) Call her “Erotica”, because she writes it.
Tayo, I’ve answered the question of which planet I’m from many times. The trouble is, the name doesn’t translate well and it tends to make computers explode if I type it out.
On the 3D thing, I’m in Tayo’s camp. The only times I’ve ever been pro-3D is on theme park rides. Rides are gimmicky by nature. If you’re trying to make something that’s theme park ride, popcorn-style fun, great. But most of the time, it’s a mask for complete shit and/or an annoying distraction from the plot.
And wow…Tombstone’s excitement over the Miley Cyrus thing – even moreso in the bloopers – well, it sounds like he should be creaming his pants over a double rainbow, all the way across the sky. Wow. Oh my God. So intense.
As a matter of fact, I DO cream in my pants over double rainbows, but that’s because of their mammillary shape. In a way, it’s like Mother Nature is at Mardis Gras and I’ve got a fist full of beads.
I agree with Tayo completely on the 3D issue. It’s a ridiculous gimmick and it makes movies more expensive.
Laura- I humbly apologize for not writing you back, but please be aware that I have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about…
